Hi Rafael! Why did you choose this setting to test our new LomoChrome Color '92 ISO 400 film ?

I chose this setting because I was curious as to what skin tones would look like in natural light as well as the difference in blues from the sky to the water. It was also a wide open area outdoors where Rosey could freely move as she is a ballet dancer.

How would you describe the look of this film?

I would say this film stock has a more nostalgic quality. It isn’t as clinically perfect as most new film stocks but it’s got a lot of charm and character inherently making it feel nostalgic.

Do you have a favorite photo taken with this film?

I love how subtle the blues look all over this frame and the way skin tones still retain their warmth.

What do you like most about the LomoChrome Color '92 ISO 400 ?

It’s ability to perform in backlit situations with ease and retain shadow detail and highlight information at the same time.

How do you feel about a new color negative film being on the market?

Absolutely happy to have another film stock on the market. Options are appreciated.

What do you think is the perfect situation for shooting this film?

I highly recommend shooting it in daylight with its beautiful look. I only wish I had gotten a chance to test it out with a strobe or flash.

Which camera did you use for this shoot?

Canon Rebel K2 with 24-70 2.8 L,16-35 mm 2.8 L, and 50 mm 1.4 lenses.

What are your hopes for the future of film photography?

I hope it sticks around for years to come. It is my way of maintaining my love of photography as I’m working as a full time digital photographer. I love having film photography for fun.

Anything else that you'd like to share about the film?

I’d like to see this film rated at 200 ISO, the roll I shot looked slightly underexposed at 400 ISO.
