Dufan for Fun under the Sun!

Summer is nice; it’s the time when the days are filled with warmth and joy, and you can spend them with lots of things to do. Summer will be special if you get some fun with the people you love, like your family and friends. One example of a great Summer activity is to visit a theme park with many rides and attractions. Dufan (Dunia Fantasi) is located in Jakarta (the capital city of Indonesia). It’s a great one-stop entertainment place for spending the whole day with family or friends. This theme park is divided into regions: Asia, Africa, America, Europe, and Fantasi Hikayat (Legendary Fantasy) region featuring Ancient Greek and Ancient Egyptian architecture. So, they make it seem like you can go around the world when you visit.

This Summer, I went there with my siblings and some of our friends. It was the time to capture the fun with lomo (I brought my lovely SuperSampler and my analogue travel companion, Nikon FM3a). We tried almost all rides, from the scariest to the wet rides. Luckily for us, Dufan was not really crowded at that day, so we didn’t waste our time just for queueing for the rides.

It was not my first time there; I went there when I was in highschool. I couldn’t go there often because it’s about 2-3 hours from my hometown by driving. But this one is much fun and worth it because there were many new rides and they’re quite scary! But still, it won’t stop me from taking photos with my lomo cameras! I won’t miss any moments.

Well, it will be more challenging when you try the fun rides while holding your camera (I did it with my lovely SuperSampler). I sure had fun under the sun in Dufan!
