Dinosaur National Monument, Canyon Trail/Harper's Corner Road, Dinosaur, Colorado

These are all experimental digital infrared taken with a Lumix DMC-FH27 that I converted to full spectrum. There is a hot spot dead in the center wihich appears as a ligher disc shape. The flaring is from the filter and the holder I am using, which is from an old Kodak EasyShare (also an easy camera to convert to IR/FS).

Great photos, it makes me want to do one of these conversions myself :-)

@ROARINGTREE — it is super easy if you pick the right camera. I have a LUMIX GF3 that I did as well and it is brilliant. Didn’t bring it on this trip b/c I was already lugging a bunch of camera stuff and didn’t want to carry those lenses as well. Good luck and happy shooting!

@northernsceneinsouthernlight Thanks so much for the advice. I'll see what I've got and whether to be brave and go for something other than a compact. Maybe go for my Lumix G1 :-) Thanks again.
