   I am overwhelmed with the sharpness/crispness of our photos made with the Canon Rebel. I have two as well (300 and 500) - but never get such crisp shots. Do you take the lens with automatic focus? I use the automatic ones - my AE1 & AV1 lenses do not fit to the Canon EOS system; these produce sharper images.

   @rolfmg THANKS!!! I only use the kit lens that came with it ... I usually set the mode to landscape to get the smallest aperture ... but other than that, I just wing it!!!
