The Imposing Body

This woman who, in the cramped Sicilian alley, seems to dominate sovereign with her imposing body, still gives to her posture and the absorbed immobility of the face, a sense of tiredness and loneliness that really becomes a whole with that urban landscape. This place closes in on itself and takes the woman as a “proud” part of itself.
