Hi Carla, welcome back! You normally shoot exclusively in color, but this summer you decided to give a second chance to black and white film. What is the reason behind that decision?

Few years ago, when I started shooting film photography, I only did it with B&W films because I was able to develop them at home. So, when I was looking back at those photos, I decided to shoot only in B&W for an entire month, to remember how it was and to give it a second chance.

In your Youtube review you praised the Potsdam Kino ISO 100 over the Berlin Kino ISO 400. Can you explain us why?

The contrasts. . . as simple as that. I love the contrast of the Potsdam Kino.

In the past you also tried our Earl Grey ISO 100 film. Compared to the Potsdam Kino, which one you prefer and why?

Actually, I don't prefer one over the other. I like them the same and I would be happy to shoot with both because they have very strong contrasts and this is the kind of look I like for B&W photos. But if I have to choose only one, I would choose the Potsdam Kino because of the deep black and the texture.

Which camera did you use for these recent photos?

I used the Mamiya RB67. A medium format camera.

What can we expect from your upcoming Youtube videos?

I will publish more videos sharing the photos I took using B&W film during last August. And much more film related content as always!
