How do I fix oxidized and/or loose battery contacts on my Lomo LC-A+?

If the batteries in your LC-A+ are not in contact with each other, or the battery-contacts in the camera have oxidized a little (you will know if there is a white coating on the battery contact), you can try scratching off the oxidized portion (or the white coating) on the metal contacts so that there won’t be anything blocking the metal contacts. By doing this, you can ensure the proper flow of electricity.

Aside from this, you could also try to bend the contact very carefully so that it will stick out a little allowing for a tighter fit among the batteries and the contact. You can do this by taking a paperclip and bending one end in order to make a hook. The hook will allow you to slip under the contact and slightly apply some pressure so you can bend the contact outwards.

Please be very gentle so as not to break the metal contacts.
